6. Photographs, video and promotional use

The photographs I create for you are processed as part of providing my photography service.

Withdrawal will not necessarily require material that has already been printed, published or distributed to be recalled, but I will stop future use where reasonably practicable.

7. Commercial and brand photography

For commercial, branding, product, hospitality, travel and campaign photography, the intended use of images may be agreed as part of the individual project or contract.

Information relating to image usage, licensing, copyright, ownership and permitted commercial use will be set out in the applicable agreement or terms for the project.

Personal information relating to a commercial client will only be processed as necessary to manage and deliver the project and associated business relationship.

Pic-Time may process information such as your name, email address, photographs and gallery access information in order to provide its services. Pic-Time states that it provides GDPR-compliant services and offers privacy controls for client galleries.

Where appropriate, client galleries will be configured as private galleries so that access is limited to people who have been invited or provided with the relevant access information.

Gallery storage period

Photography galleries are subject to my available storage capacity and business storage arrangements.

I do not guarantee indefinite storage of photographs.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, photographs will be retained on Pic-Time for as long as I reasonably require them to remain in active photo storage.

You will be advised when your photographs are ready for download and should download and securely back up your images promptly.

Clients should download their photographs within 30 days of receiving their gallery.

After this period, photographs may remain available where storage permits, but I cannot guarantee continued availability.

Photographs may ultimately be deleted, archived or otherwise removed from active storage where required because of storage limitations, business requirements or the end of the relevant retention period.

You are therefore responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of photographs once they have been delivered to you.

Where Pic-Time or another storage provider archives photographs rather than deleting them, retrieval may take additional time. Pic-Time states that archived photographs may require a period of time to be prepared for download.

The ICO's guidance confirms that the rules apply not only to traditional cookies but also to tracking pixels, scripts, tags and similar technologies that access or store information on a user's device.

You should therefore be given a genuine choice over non-essential tracking rather than such tracking being activated simply because you visit the website.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not stop essential communications relating to an existing booking or service.

17. Email and communication tracking

Some marketing emails may use technologies such as tracking pixels to provide information about whether an email has been opened or interacted with.

Where such technologies are used, they will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and electronic communications requirements.

The ICO recognises that tracking pixels and similar technologies can fall within rules governing access to information on a person's device.

Where an affiliate link is used, Becky D Photography may receive a commission, referral fee or other compensation if you click the link and subsequently make a qualifying purchase or take another qualifying action. This does not normally result in any additional cost to you.

Affiliate links may use cookies, tracking parameters, pixels, redirect technologies or similar technologies to allow the relevant affiliate programme or network to identify that a visitor was referred from Becky D Photography and to attribute a qualifying purchase, conversion or other action.

Where affiliate tracking technologies are used on this website and they are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website, they will be treated as non-essential tracking technologies and will only be activated where the required consent has been obtained through the website's cookie consent mechanism.

Clicking an affiliate link may also take you to a third-party website. Once you leave the Becky D Photography website, the privacy and cookie practices of that third party will apply. Becky D Photography is not responsible for the privacy practices, cookies, tracking technologies, content or security of third-party websites.

Affiliate links and related promotional content will be identified in accordance with applicable advertising and consumer-protection requirements. Individual affiliate links or content may therefore be marked with an appropriate disclosure such as "Ad", "Paid link" or another clear indication of the commercial relationship.

Where required by an affiliate programme, additional programme-specific disclosures will also be provided.

Amazon Associates: Becky D Photography may participate in the Amazon Associates Programme.

As an Amazon Associate, Becky D Photography earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon may use cookies or other technologies to attribute qualifying purchases made following an affiliate referral. Any Amazon-specific disclosures required by the Amazon Associates Programme will be provided in addition to this general affiliate disclosure.
