What is your style of couple photography?
My style is inspired by the feeling of a 90s romantic comedy - nostalgic, cinematic, playful and romantic, with a strong focus on genuine connection. I combine natural moments with gentle direction to create photographs that feel like stills from your own love story.
Do we need to be engaged or celebrating something?
Not at all. You don't need a special occasion to document your relationship.
We're awkward in photographs. Can you help us?
Absolutely. You don't need to know how to pose or be naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Infact we can go as rogue as you feel. I'll give you some simple ideas that create movement and interaction, rather than asking you to awkwardly stand and smile at the camera.
Where can we have our couple photography session?
Anywhere that feels like you. We can explore beautiful outdoor locations around Hampshire or choose somewhere personal to your relationship - from a favourite beach or countryside spot to a place that holds a special memory.
Can we make the photographs feel like a film?
That's exactly the idea. We'll use your location, movement, light and natural interactions to create a collection that feels cohesive and cinematic - almost like a series of stills from a film about your relationship.
What should we wear?
Think timeless rather than overly coordinated. Outfits that you genuinely feel good wearing will always photograph best.
Can we bring our children?
This shoot is specifically designed for couples. If you would like to include children please check out the Family Photograhy package, where we can also make time for photographs of just the two of you.
Can couple photography be combined with pregnancy photography?
Yes. Pregnancy can be a beautiful chapter in your love story, and we can create photographs that capture the two of you before your family grows.
Can you photograph proposals?
Yes. If you're planning a surprise proposal, get in touch before making your plans so we can create a plan around the location and timing - and where i'll be hiding!
What happens if it rains?
Don't automatically rule it out! Rain, wind and changing light can create some of the most cinematic photographs. If the weather becomes genuinely unsuitable, we'll simply rearrange your session.
